Catching Up With LSpeed

Lauren Speed

Lauren Speed

Actress/Model/Blogger/Radio personality/Socialite: All of these words can be used to describe the equally beautiful and talented Lauren Speed.

Lauren, aka L Speed, has graced the runway during BET’s Rip the Runway and most recently, New York Fashion Week.  She has been featured in numerous ads for companies such as Chrysler, Al Wissam, and The Steve Harvey Clothing Collection. She has even appeared in popular magazines like Real Detroit, Native Detroiter, and most notably The Source, where she was voted “People’s Choice Dimepiece” in 2009. Not only was Lauren the cover girl on the #1 international Biker Magazine Horse Backstreet Choppers, you can spot her on the cover for the urban novel Stay in your place by Tonja Ayers. You also might recognize Lauren from her lead role in Slum Village’s video for their single “Faster.”

But Lauren is much more than just a pretty face. Having graduated with a B.S in Electronic Media and Film from Eastern Michigan University, she is the CEO of the lifestyle blog, along with her online radio show LSpeed Radio.

Check out the newest edition of 16 Dreams to learn more about Lauren and what keeps her going.

Lauren: I had a HUGE crush on Eminem!
